What is the distance from Hetauda to Chitlang? 

Traveling from Hetauda to Chitlang offers a scenic journey through the hills of Makwanpur district just takes 3 hours of your time. You can have a staycation or a 3-day trip at max to enjoy Chitlang to the fullest. 

Starting with Hetauda, you will be happy as the road unwinds its beauty on your destination to Chitlang. This 56.6 km journey via Kulekhani – Sisneri – Pharping Road to reach Chitlang can be one of the most beautiful moments in your life if you take it with your loved ones.

1. By Bus

It’s good news that direct buses are operating from Hetauda to Chitlang. These buses usually leave in the morning and are one of the convenient options for visitors. The bus ride typically takes around 2 to 3 hours, depending on road conditions and traffic. 

If you go by bus you can reach Markhu only by bus, you need to hike for 1 and a half hours to get to Chitlang. It’s better to go by private vehicle. Look if your hotel is sending private transfers for you or giving pickup services. That will ease your journey a bit.

2. By Private Vehicle

If you prefer more flexibility to your travel itinerary it is best that you rent a taxi or drive your vehicle (the most preferred option is a bike). This option allows you to stop along the way for sightseeing or breaks.
